Card for MMM Challenge

Hi Friends,

Today I'm at Make My Monday Challenge blog with my DT inspiration.
The theme for challenge #71 is "Hint of Summer to come"
I made a summer under the sea theme card.
For this I used the backing paper from Prima Flowers as the base, you can see the beautiful sea shells printed on this and I wanted to use this on my project.
Then I glued some corrugated sheets here and there and made some texture using grainy texture paste, cheesecloth and sea shells.

I painted the card using acrylic colors and spray paints. Added some moss and a chipboard fish. Then I added a sentiment "Fantastic day" to finish the look.

Hope you like my project.

Hello Spidy

Hello Friends,

Today I'm sharing an altered cd.
My son and I are big fans if Spiderman and he has a huge collection of Spiderman toys which includes his Kinder joy collection. He maintains a separate box for his Kinder joy toys. This Spidy that I used here in my project was slightly broken but he didn't want to throw it and I got this piece after so many requests and after agreeing that the final product will be a display in his room.
Lots of hard work...
I wanted to alter a CD since long and this theme just crossed my mind and I made this.

This CD got a coat of black gesso and using a stencil I created some texture. Added some negative chippies to give some height to my focal piece and then added these beautiful chipboard pieces. I gave a coat of black gesso to all the elements and finally added the toy.

After it dried completely I colored the piece with Blue and Black gold colors. Dry brushed some rust metallic paint and finnabair wax.
Hope you like my project.

Heaven's Sent - Explosion Box

Hello Crafty Friends,
Today I made a beautiful explosion box. This one I wanted to make since long but some how couldn't find time. Today I just sat down and finished it at a go. I love the outcome and I hope you'll love it too.

When you open the box it opens to the fairy house. I didn't want to take away the limelight from the centre so kept the four sides simple, but all sides have pockets and each pocket has another pocket folder in which you can put some sentiments and wishes.

The fairy house is also a box. I didn't have any small chocolates left in my fridge, so put some flowers in it just to show that u can easily put some nice chocolates inside.

My lappy isn't working for some reason today and I clicked pics from my phone and uploading also from my phone. Excuse if any mistake.

Supplies Used:

Papericious Pattern Paper Fairyland
Papericious Pattern Paper Blush
Papericious Pattern Paper Indie Chic
Papericious Chipboards Honey comb
Papericious Lace
Papericious Sequins Vintage
Little Birdie flowers
Little Birdie Raffia
Prima Marketing Flowers
Tacky Glue
Martha Stewart Scoreboard
Tonic Cutter
Scissors
Stones and Pebbles

Hello Crafty Friends,

I have altered a jar today. This was originally a Chutney jar and I saw these flowers and thought of making something using them.
I added a coat of heavy white gesso first and then 2 in 1 texture paste from little birdie. Then a coat of crackle paste. Then I wrapped a lace around the bottle. Sprinkled some art stones and the flowers. Colored the bottle with Craftyscrappers Spray paints Muddy pool and grape juice. After it is dried, a bit of dry brushing with white gesso. Same is done on the cap also.
